"I would like to serve on the DCFCCA board to give back. I have received so much from the association throughout my years as a provider and I would like to give back and help the many providers there are in Dakota County. Every year we are losing many family child care providers and maybe if we as an association can reach out and support them they would stay in the business. I have been the Area Coordinator for the Hastings area for over 10 years so I have worked with the Area Coordinator Facilitator in the past and understand all the duties. Besides running my daycare I also am in charge of almost all the concessions at Hastings High School. I have to be organized and competent so we always have enough supplies and volunteers."
